Where is Blue Sky?
Blue Sky Clothing Company has two locations in British-Columbia. 
In Balfour, we are at the Ferry Terminal. The Balfour ferry is the 
longest free ferry ride in the world, well worth it for the amazing scenery!
Our store is located in the terminal parking lot. Open April 1 to October 31.   
 
 In Nelson, we are at 511 Baker St in historic downtown Nelson, open all year.
 
Who is Blue Sky
Owners Marilyn Cavanaugh and Robin Brook design and manufacture all items 
available for sale in both store and online.
Our Mission  
To provide elegant, comfortable clothing in natural fibers to women with real bodies.   
We carry a size range from XS to 4X.  All our fabrics are machine 
washable.
Fair Labour
 
We personally oversee all processes of dying, cutting, sewing.   We have our own office in Indonesia where we cut most of the pieces and send them out in the neighbourhood for sewing. We care about the families that work for us and ensure that they are well paid.  It is a hands on operation as we stay there for four months of the year while the production is taking place.  We have broughtsome of our staff to Canada to help them have a better life.  We are working on helping others to own their own sewing factories so they can assure a good future for their children.  We love the culture and the people and will always continue to try
and help in anyway possible. 
 
We also work in China to produce bamboo and organic cotton knits.  It is a small family run knitting factory that is environmental and advocates fair labour practices.
Fabrics
Blue Sky clothing is crafted from high-quality, natural fabrics. 
We also design some of our own natural fabrics.

 separates. Blue Sky's innovative fabric artists have created a great selection
